Leadership Camp Participants

Stamp Camp USA offers two options, a camp for children (typically ages 8-14) and leadership training for adults so that they may offer camps for children in their area. Comprehensive guides are provided to ensure repeatable success whenever and wherever camps are held. Camps may be tailored to run from a few hours to three days.

Typical Stamp Camp Activities for Kids and Adult Leaders

  • learn terminology used in the hobby
  • soak, sort, identify and value stamps
  • hinge, mount, store and display collections
  • storytelling with worldwide stamps, envelopes and postmarks
  • scavenger hunts
  • produce travel passports
  • using identifiers and maps to learn geography
  • translate markings on envelopes to unravel everything from bar codes to zip copes
  • transcribe old handwritten letters
  • create 3-D artwork using stamps and craft supplies
